Everyone loves receiving gifts. It may be a tangible gift from a store or it may be an intangible gift like time. Whatever it is, ensure you’re giving gifts to your spouse. Of course, the best way to discover what your spouse likes it to ASK.
Once you discover the kind of gift(s) your spouse likes, give it remembering the definition of the word gift: a thing given willingly to someone without payment.
In other words, the gift you give is to be given willingly without expecting a favor from your spouse in return. If your spouse returns the favor, great! Give again to keep the cycle going. If your spouse does not give a gift in return, don’t lose heart. Just keep giving. There is a universal law that makes it impossible for you to continue giving without receiving anything in return. At some point, you’ll reap the good you’ve been sowing.
