Intimidating & Pressuring Your Spouse Usually Backfires

Are you the type person who uses intimidation and pressure to get your way with your spouse? If you are, know that they’re likely backfiring on you. Sure, while your spouse may be doing what you want him/her to do, you’re creating a chasm between the two of you, and thereby severing any emotional connection that may exist.

There are better ways to interact with your mate than using intimidation or pressure, e.g., kindness and gentle persuasion. Pressure and intimidation usually backfire, and make a mess of your marriage.
