- Why Should We Receive Coaching?
Coaching is for any couple that places a high value on their marriage, and would like some expert guidance on making their marriage be the best it can be. Whether you want to go from bad to good or good to great, coaching is for you! In short, coaching helps you go farther faster.
- Isn’t Coaching Only for Couples in Trouble?
Absolutely not! Coaching is for couples in ANY season of their relationship – whether things are currently rough or great. According to Benjamin Franklin, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Receiving marriage coaching BEFORE problems arise is wise, and is a worthy investment considering the high financial, emotional, and mental cost of a dysfunctional marriage, and potential divorce.
- Do You Provide Pre-Marital Coaching?
Yes, we do! In fact, we think that is the best time for a couple to get coached (and during the first year of marriage before bad, marriage-sinking habits set in). We prefer to work with a couple for five to six months prior to the wedding, and therefore offer a discounted coaching fee due to the extended number of sessions. If Kevin officiates your wedding (he has been an ordained minister since 2001), there is no cost for your pre-marital coaching sessions. - What Do We Talk About?
That’s completely up to you! As the client, you set the agenda. We regularly talk about goal-setting, dreams, communication, conflict, sex, work, family, finances, great marriages, troubled marriages, children, and everything in between. You set the agenda, and we’ll come along beside you to help you accomplish your goals.
- Do We Meet In Person or By Phone?
The majority of our coaching takes place via phone due to our international audience. That said, we are happy to meet face-to-face with couples who are within driving distance to Greensboro, NC.
- Will I Get Ganged-Up On?
No way! Coaching is not about “ganging-up” on one spouse over the other. Both the husband and wife will be equally challenged & affirmed by us to be the best spouse they can be [with their mate's encouragement and God’s help]. It takes two to make a marriage work, so we’ll focus on both spouses.
- Will You Keep My Business Private?
Definitely! We respect your privacy, and will keep your identity and situation confidential.
- My Spouse Does Not Want Coaching … Can I Do It Alone?
Yes, we understand that sometimes one spouse may be open to coaching while the other one is not. While we will accept one spouse, we do encourage both couples to participate in the coaching process so the marriage can receive full benefit.
- How Much Will it Cost?
The initial 60-minute coaching session is $65. Our price includes customized coaching to help you set and reach goals for your marriage. These sessions are focused on your needs, and are arranged so that we help you discover the solutions you’re seeking vs. providing them for you. Additional 60-minute sessions are $55 each.
- I’m Ready For Coaching. When Can I Start?
Great! You can get the ball rolling by completing the coaching profile below. After you submit your form, you’ll be directed to PayPal where you can make your payment for the coaching session. Upon receiving notification of your payment, we will contact you to setup a mutually convenient appointment.
